Margie Carter

Senior Cake Decorator - The Temperamental Artiste

Margie grew up in Lockhart, a country town west of Wagga, with a population of 1000 people. She moved to Sydney in 1969 to do a five year Fine Art course. It wasn't until 1988 that Margie began cake decorating. She wasn't so much interested in cakes, but wanted to be creative so got a job painting portraits onto cakes. Paris considers Margie the 'Michael Jackson of the cake decorating world' as she's a brilliant artist that does what she wants when she wants. Her attitude is forgivable as she makes the most incredibly realistic and life-like cakes.
