Christmas is a time when we are prepared to spend whole days stirring, stuffing and marinating – and Nigella’s mantra is that cooking should be fun – if it isn’t, then you’re not doing it right! Domestic Goddess Nigella Lawson presents a new series of Nigella’s Christmas Kitchen. It covers everything she loves, food, entertaining, home and family. Across this five-part seasonal special Nigella brings to viewers some very special and delicious Christmas recipes. Nigella believes that Christmas is both a season to be treasured and a state of mind that has to be achieved by relishing long established routines and welcoming new ones too. It’s so much more than just one ‘fractious’ meal. It is also the opportunity of re-discovering slow cooking, preserving and the unhurried joy that Christmas can be. In these five festive programs Nigella shares her Christmas culinary short cuts and tips, plus recipes that can be prepared in advance, frozen and revived at Christmas time for stress-free suppers, topped off with the Domestic Goddess’ tips for throwing the best Christmas party!
"Christmas food is the best sort of food because it's about proper, unpretentious home cooking. Feasting isn't about formality: it's about providing friends and family with good things to eat." Nigella Lawson

I love nigella, she is an amazing chef, i have tried so many of her recipes and they are fail proof!!!
I love her Christmas special. She makes the atmosphere so warm & inviting.Would love to be at one of her dinner parties. Her food presentations are to die for.
I love her NOW. She is back on the FoodNetwork, which can be terribly stodgy, audition new cooks only to have them be VERY boring, and has the crappiest website in the universe. So why do I watch it? Nigella, Alton Brown, and 5-ingredient Clare. Nigella I love because she makes a brunch out strata and cake, waving any darkness about carbs out of her breezy way. 'Atta, girl!
MZM 12/16/10
My Nan and I absolutely LOVE watching Nigella's Christmas Kitchen. She has amazing recipes.
Real Woman and Real food, what a combination. Bring it on can't have too much.
She is simply the best because she makes everything look so easy! She is just like the neighbour next door who cooks everyday and you want to be like her! I love the way she speaks and manages everything with such ease....
saw only have the program the other night - but it was sliced bread covered in a cheese sauce and baked if anyone knows where the recipe can be found under nigella's receipes i would be very grateful - love her shows and she makes it look so easy even i am tempted and do try to have a go at many of them - think she is the best
I would love to have Nigella as a sponsor for Variety here in Australia with some bush tucker.
I saw your show on the Food Network Program on Dec. 13 at 9:00 am I believe. I can't find those recipes online. It was Nigellas Christmas Kitchen, and I loved everything you did. There was an egg and cheese casserole, a beautiful Christmas cake, esspresso martinis, and more. I would love to get a hold of them. Please let me know. narlockski@comcast.net Thank you, Rachel Narlock

I too am looking for that cake tin .. have come across this site while trawling the net for it actually. No luck so far. :o(
Fortnum and Masons, London sell them
I had already tried my local JL .. and Kitchens. I have just found (& ordered) one .. a Christmas pressie to myself .. from http://www.pots-and-pans.co.uk/acatalog/Nordic_Ware_Christmas_Tree_Bundt_Cake_Pan.html :o)
Go to John Lewis, but I think they may have sold out and it is now a discontinued line. But try all their stores. Good luck.
did either of you find that tin, I would love one too!
I'm a mad committed fan. I can't wait to get the recepie for the cheese egg souffle dish that was on the other day, I think it was the same show as the vanilla cake baked in the cake tin mentioned above. I think the tin was in the shape of christmas trees and she dusted them with icing sugar. Have you tried googeling kitchen suppliers or speciality cake places? Let em know how you do.
It's called tripple cheese and onion strata - i've been looking for about half an hour and was delighted to find it. This is the link http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/triplecheeseandonion_90623.shtml
Have you got the recipe for the cheese egg souffle dish ? Have been looking every where for it and cant find it so far. Thanks
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE ABOUTS I CAN BUY THE EXACT SAME CAKE TIN THAT NIGELLA USED THIS WEEK... IT LOOKED LIKE A HUGH CASTLE.. REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY WOULD LOVE ONE THE SAME ONE.. PS HAVE TRIED EBAY WITH NO LUCK :-(
hello..i bought the exact one..google richmond kitchen shop, dorset..just under £30 inc p&p, but great quality
hi i bought a silicon mould that is the same as nigella used but was described as church rather than castle.i bought it off ebay from Templeton tools & machinery ltd it was buy it now £5.99 plus 2.45 postage. So try typing in church instead of castle ifyou want one.
I saw this in Fortnum and Mason, London this year
I would love her recipes from the Christmas shows. That are on right now.I can not find them!! Please add them so we can use them next week. Nigella is one cook who is down to earth and keeps it real for every one. What a wounderful lady nagella is.
just watched the programme as every week, sat with a BIG SMILE on my face, what "a feel good factor" watch. Just love you Nigella
where's the recipe for the "girdle busting pie?"
Hi Ann,
Try this link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/you/article-1059850/Girdlebuster-pie.html
I'm going to try it for Christmas Day! Good luck!
She cooks food we can all cook at home and feel like goddesses. She is as beautiful as the food she presents to us. My ambition is slowly buying all her books. You cannot fail her recipes. She makes you feel like a star in your kitchen. We love you Nigella. I have become popular at home. Even impressed my friends. My boys call me the queen at home now. All i need now is my tiara. I love her food. There is something comforting about it. She is a real woman who loves eating food and shows us its okay to enjoy one of lifes pleasures in life. Thanks Nigella.
She's the big sister I never had, guiding around the kitchen through her cook books.
the thing is with nigella she cooks food that is often simple, but inspired by traditional recipes but with a fresh leash on life! and as the french say you cant cook without butter which she fully well knows. i love nigella because she has the pasion for home cooking which we can all do instead of gordon who cooks in a chefs kitchen or jamie who uses a camping hob. when i think nigella i think simple honest food
I watched Nigella's Christmas Kitchen for the first time last night and wow! i can't wait to look up some of her recipes! I hope the Bake Potato with cheese, spring onion and 3 cheese dish recipe is somewhere on here...something so easy to make and looked sooooo yummy!! When it comes to cheese i have a big weakness....i'd have cheese over chocolate! lol
Keep up the great work Nigella. I love watching all of your shows.
she sounds realy nice and she is realy pretty
She speaks to poshyly, and she thinks she is upper cl***.. Chin Chin.. hahhahaa..!
I think she is down to earth and speaks really nice and her food excellent. Your spelling error shows you are not upper class :)
Angela
but you R the worse "comentarista".... without cl***....hahhahaa...Chin Chin.......!!!
She make me laugh when she describes her food. She,s passionate about what she does. Thats rare these days. Good onya!!
I have to say she is the best chef ever she cooks with passion and pride her food is so simple and pratical.
I love how she uses the full fat version of everything. Yummmmm!!
She is a really a goddess! Beautiful and talented! Her food are easy and for pratical.
