Jamie's Fowl Dinners

About the show

Superstar chef Jamie Oliver is challenging the way we eat and buy fresh produce with his controversial Jamie’s Fowl Dinners. Raising difficult questions about animal welfare and what consumers are prepared to pay for quality food, Jamie hosts a gala dinner to demonstrate the reality of how chickens live and die to put food on our plates. With the help of poultry farmers and experts including Bill Oddie and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and with the support of comedian Ricky Gervais, Jamie brings together consumers, producers and retailers to discuss how chickens and eggs are produced and how they are actually killed.

Everything Jamie Oliver does is gold. My 4 year old son who loves cooking and can crack an egg with one hand and proudly say's with no shell bits, sat and watch your show in amazement he wanted to know where the chickens and eggs we eat come from and he totally understood the importance on looking after them and to get the best product to eat. Thanks for the show.
