James Martin and Good Food invite you to join them on a voyage of culinary discovery as they sail around the Mediterranean, in search of the best locally sourced produce and fresh ingredients, before cooking them up into a series of mouth-watering dishes.
From Chania and Elounda in Crete to Liguria in Tuscany, each episode of James Martin’s Mediterranean will see him arrive at a different port, where he will meet a handful of local chefs, farmers, and ex-patriots, before unearthing exquisite tips and takes on the area’s cuisine and revealing how to get the most out of them.
As the sun sets over the stunning Mediterranean coastline, he will then invite the locals on board his boat, where he will rustle up three sumptuous meals for them. From the easy to the aspirational, the dishes will combine the ingredients he has discovered, and reflect everything that he has learned throughout each stage of his journey.
Coupled with his enthusiasm for learning about new food types, this voyage will be a first for James, who is one of Britain’s best-loved cooks and a self-confessed fan of the Mediterranean and the rich and vibrant flavours it has to offer.
Sumptuous meals, served against a backdrop of stunning sunsets and scenery, James Martin’s Mediterranean is a feast for the senses.

I wish this site linked the episodes to the food better.
I just love this program and James. The whole show is fantastic, my husband and I watch the show together and enjoy the simplicity and ease of James' recipes and it has also helped us plan our time in France next year.
