Alton, alongside Iron Chefs Mario Batali and Bobby Flay and super chef Emeril Lagasse meet White House Executive Chef Cristeta Comerford who introduces the stunned chefs to America’s First Lady, Michelle Obama.
First Lady Obama informs the Iron Chefs that they will be competing in an intense culinary showdown to create the ultimate American meal using the White House Kitchen Garden as the ‘secret ingredient’. Returning to Kitchen Stadium, Flay and Comerford are coupled opposite Lagasse and Batali as each team tirelessly tests their skills to produce dishes worthy of the Super Chef Battle.
