About the show

Expect high drama as 16 wannabe chefs step through the doors of Hell's Kitchen to pit their wits and cooking skills against each other, under the watchful eye of the terrifying chef Ramsay. With varying degrees of culinary experience the chefs are all incredibly passionate about food. Demanding absolute perfection, Ramsay puts them through rigorous culinary challenges, testing to see who will boil under the intense pressure. Each week, one chef goes home while the rest are left to sauté their way toward the grand prize of ‘Head Chef’ at the East Coast's leading resort, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.

The competition is more intense than ever! With more contestants and more dinner services, Gordon’s sharp-tongue and flared-temper is sure to cause some major meltdowns in the kitchen. Frazzled chefs try to slice and dice their way to the top, as they vie for Ramsay’s approval.

The contestants’ inexperience, combined with the perfectionist Ramsay’s acid tongue, may be a recipe for disaster, but for one aspiring restaurateur, it’s the chance of a lifetime. In this pressure-cooker
