The two-part LifeStyle FOOD production, Neil’s seventh television series, continues the culinary journey that began with the internationally acclaimed Food Source* as Neil seeks out the best food and wine in Far North Queensland.

Home to a dazzling array of tropical fruit and vegetables, Far North Queensland is a gourmet's paradise. From the stunning coastline around Mission Beach, the cool rainforests of Port Douglas and Tully to the rustic villages of the Atherton Tableland, the region boasts some of Australia’s most diverse ranges of produce.

Tracing a gastronomic trail throughout the region, Neil Perry samples the most sumptuous produce you’ll ever see: seafood delights such as red claw yabbies, mahi mahi, and chilli mud crab, and tantalising tropical delicacies like sour sop, rambutan, mangosteen and taro. He visits Cairns’ famous fresh produce markets, encounters real crocodiles whose meat is farmed for export and local restaurants, meets the locals who have been growing sugar cane and pepper for generations and learns about niche products like organic quark and bamboo shoots.

And of course no Neil Perry program wouldn't be complete without meeting the chefs behind such superb restaurants as Nautilus, Eden House, Reef House and Sassi Cucina.
