About the show

The range of food available to Britons has come a long way since the days when a 'takeaway' meant the choice of fish, chips, or, errr, fish and chips... In this series, presenter Paul Roseby travels around Britain to meet the producers, consumers and cooks responsible for the many flavours of cooking and eating in the UK today.

He'll take you on a gastronomic adventure, from the cuisine and ingredients of traditional favourites like Yorkshire pudding and Cheddar cheese to some of the newer flavours of India and China, which have become an essential part of dining in modern, multicultural Britain.
