It may be the season of goodwill but the chefs in Christmas Cooks Challenge will be trying as hard as ever to win the battle of the stovetops. Host Antony Worrall Thompson will be in charge of ensuring fair play as each day the chefs create an array of festive dishes. The chefs, including Gino D’Acampo and John Burton Race, will be pushed to the limits as they cook against the clock, within a budget and with set ingredients. They will ultimately be judged by a line-up of celebrity guests including Carol Thatcher, Liz Smith, Ken Livingstone and Joe Absolom.
Each day Antony will also be giving his celebrity guest a Christmas cooking masterclass, from creating a vegetarian feast, carving a turkey or using leftovers, there will be plenty of recipes and tips to help plan a sumptuous Christmas feast to remember.
