Who are your chefs speaking to when they are constantly looking "off camera". There is no apparent interviewer and the real audience is ignored. In my 35 years of media experience this technique of having the talent speak to nobody is the most frustrating that I have come across.

you bunch of wingers complaining about camera angles and what direction the chefs are looking. Go and get a life! If not, find another channel to whinge about. This comment section is not the forum, and with all your "experience" surely you would have better things to do than just complain about them.

....Great recipes and different ideas all round. Great to see some stuff that plays on the traditonal recipes of Xmas. Love the show guys!

In response to Michael Kull, the gym population and weight loss market are totally different, but fresh food ideas, salads, low fat, recipes are in abundance on this site. Surely Jamie Oliver to name one chef has a true understanding and constantly promotes fresh tasty cooking.

I come on to this site to enjoy more recipes and ideas for Christmas and my families. I think chefs give a good range of recipes for us to choose from. If you want a specific type of low fat foods, just replace ingredidents with low fat or go onto the Weight Watchers Site. Thanks Chefs for great recipe ideas, entertainment and a Merry Christmas to you all.

Good luck all . Just remember to enjoy the day and don't forget to keep it simple stupid. Vary things or amounts to suit or availability of ingredients. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS NOT TO OVERCOOK OR UNDER COOK PRODUCE. Thats the secret. The Backdoor Chef.

I really enjoyed the 'Chefs' Christmas' series and I hope the show is repeated in 2010 with equal amount of chefs from different states not just Sydney. Camera angles etc ....who cares as long as the show makes you want to cook afterwards. I am now cooking the Cherry Crumble from Danny Russo.

Chris I so much enjoyed the cooking show "Chefs' Christmas" - there was such a warm and personal touch from the chefs and it has given me confidence to want to try the recipes. It would be great if it came out on DVD. Thanks heaps.

No wonder Trev burns the toast - too busy watching and not enough listening Trev, mate you really need to get with it Neil represents the very top echelon of Australian COOKING in the past 20 years or more and acting talents trail a very necessary second. Hats off to all these fine chefs!

I think it's kind of nice and quirky that Chefs don't talk directly to the camera. To my mind, it adds a bit of style to the programme. It's amazing the reactions some people have to something as innocuous as this.
