I agree and the tireless efforts and the history that goes into Cheese making for some of these countries and towns is an absolute eye opener and leaving us with a deep sense of gratitude right across the board.

I love cheese and I love Cheese Slices but I have a question rather than a comment. In the early '80s my wife and I were touring Europe in an old campervan when we bought a fabulous cheese, of a type I have never had before or since, called "La pierre doree de beaujolais". It was a very hard cheese, and squeaked when you bit it. I have since tried in vain to find the cheese or even to discover what style of cheese it was. Can Will (or anyone else) please help. Doug.
