And now, there’s a new ‘help wanted’ sign hanging in the window of this family’s bakery. Cake Boss: Next Great Baker is a new competition series to find the best rising baker in the business. In this series, Buddy Valastro puts 10 talented pastry chefs through the ringer to earn the title of Next Great Baker. At stake is $50,000 cash and the chance to work side-by-side with Buddy at Carlo's Bakery. Each episode, Buddy pushes the contestants' baking and decorating skills to the limit, through a series of increasingly difficult challenges. Every week, someone will be eliminated, until Buddy Valastro’s Next Great Baker is the last left standing.
