bill's food

With no-fuss recipes and easy to find ingredients, Bill ensures that everyone can prepare his food

The sun is shining, the surf’s up and its time to savour some great Australian cooking. Bill Granger is once again serving up the simple, fresh food we love to eat. bills food is an award-winning television series with restaurateur and best-selling cookbook author Bill Granger. Filled with no-fuss recipes using easy to find ingredients, bills food ensures that everyone can prepare his appealing and delicious food. Bill shows how to cook meals for every occasion, whether it’s his cheat’s guide to entertaining in style or how to prepare meals that won’t break the bank and perfect dishes for two.

While Bill has always had a keen interest in food, a career in food wasn’t a natural progression for him. He grew up in suburban Melbourne during the 1970’s with a father who was a butcher and a vegetarian mother. Bill says, “I’m a self-taught cook, and my knowledge comes from eating, reading and simply experiencing food. I like to cook the kind of food that people like to eat.”

I had dinner at Bills in Sydney last night and had a really great meal that made me want to add it to my list of regulars..Really well presented food in generous portions which is a refreshing change in Sydney. The semolina crusted calamari made a crunchy & lighter change to any other fried calamari dishes i have had in a long time and well worth it if it's on the menu!

Think i'll try Bill's for breakfast next week;)

I am totally nuts about your recipes I even recorded some of them that I miss. I tried the avo salsa and sweetcorn fritters and it was a hit with my friends and family. I serve it as a starter. I still want to try your scrambled eggs for breakfast.

I've only seen Bill Granger on TV twice as I live in Milan, Italy. However I do have his book "bill's food" and I can assure you that his recipes are fool-proof and a favourite with my international family. Next time I come back home to Australia I'll make sure that we find one of his restaurants so as to savour his delicious dishes.
