I am starting to tolerate James now that he has calmed down his jokes, I loved Fresh better but don't mind some of James's recipies and think he is a really nice guy. What I do like about his show is: he tells you why you should or shouldn't do a particular thing whilst cooking and gives you lots of tips.

Great show. James makes some really nice simple dishes and what's good about them, they are all free, unlike some other cooking show where you have to pay to get his recipes and they are not as good as what James makes. Shirl. Love your recipes and your informative show. I am a great cook, however why do you put Vegeta for flavour? It has loads of MSG - adds to weight gain. It is a chemical and maybe ppl might like to Google "harmful effects of MSG" - it can be replaced with stock cubes or powder with no MSG, read the label. Keep up the good work James. You're great and have a sweet personality.

Luv your show and will continue to watch it. The constructive comments I would make is why have you changed from using Vegeta, which you said was the ONLY one to use and now the stock is from an unnamed carafe like with all the other ingredients you use now. The brands Always Fresh etc were promoted plus now most of the ingredients you use to make your dishes are already prepared whereas you always did them on camera. We also miss using your knife as a 'teaspoon', that was part of the humour and it's blatantly obvious you would much prefer to use the BOSCH all in kitchen gadget as opposed to the Breville mixmaster which 'spits' out bananas everywhere :) Look forward to your comments. Di from Adelaide

Quite possibly the worst cooking show I've ever seen! Even worse than the fat man (Huey) - and that's saying something! I hate how all the shots linger on the product that is obviously paying for the show. I hate Jame's cheesy presentation. It is the exact opposite to a show like Good Chef Bad Chef... Boo! Pull it off air!

After reading these comments..... well, it just goes to show that we are all different. Personally find the show extremely irritating - "I've never cooked this before....let's see how it will turn out" - however honest that is, it is not really professional. I flick onto something else as soon as I know this on. More shows that are the calibre of Good Chef/Bad Chef would be appreciated.

James is a really fun host and his food is really delicious and easy to make but with a huge variety. Frankly they ruined fresh by replacing Geoff Janz with that boring monotone guy who is about as entertaining as a rock. I enjoy a little silliness and a man with a sense of humor!

I think that James is a very good cook and what he does in his private life is his business and no one else's so leave him alone.
