Chicken with roasted Beets. One of my favorite recipes of all time. I LOVE this recipe and have won over beet haters from day one. I think this combination of pan roasted chicken breasts with oven roasted beets and feta with an Oregano balsamic butter reduction is just fabulous. Just makes my mouth water thinking about it. AND if you are fortunate enough to know how to pan roast the chicken to perfection in the pan and finish in the oven, you have the trick down with tender delicious meat and good roasted vegetables. It does NOT get any better than this sister, let me tell you!!!!!!

A few weeks ago I saw ((and USED)) immediately a recipe for pie pastry - I was so sure it was a Donna thing - but can't find it anywhere and it was absoultely the best pastry recipe I have every used. Did anyone else get it??? It was something like this .... melt the butter in saucepan (I think this also included liquid -either milk or I thought water) and little salt then add in the flour .. If you have this particular recipe I would be very appreciative - the top and bottom pastry texture were almost like a commercial pie with the slightly spongy base and a nice crisp top. THANKS...
