Located in central Launceston is the second largest city in Tassie and the third oldest. Surrounded by majestic mountains, has earned the name Garden City and has an interesting history. Its main attractions are close to Cataract Gorge, the colonial gardens, tea houses and old factories. It is located 14 miles from the center. The city is easily explored on foot, but there is also a good public transport system. http://www.travelaustralia360.com/glimpse-of-launceston-its-attractions.html

As a lover of good, dark chocolate, this eatery offers the very best I've tasted. Their friendly, reliably excellent service is wonderful and being recognised with a cheery greeting when we enter will always encourage our return. Chili-dark chocolate thickshakes to die for!!!

The staff are friendly, the food is excellent, the coffee sensational and the chocolates mouthwatering. I have been a customer for 2-3 years now and nowhere else in Launceston can compare.

The chocolate studio is our weekly stop off for coffee, hot chocolate, lunch and chocolate. Doesn't get better than something being so great and Tasmanian. Best Chocolate in the State!

With two young kids its hard to find a cafe that can offer an environment which is friendly, and appealing to myself and the children. They provide not only fabulous chocolate themed drinks but a menu which is great for all ages. We love the kids fundo (fondu) and the lamb burger for myself. We love it so much my mothers group meet there once a week for two hours. Well done guys you are just brilliant.
