The Greek on Halifax

poor effort. it is not the greek on halifax it once was!! food was poor and over expensive for what was served - more like pub food. the dishes are not as 'authentic' as they sound.

I love the greek on Halifax because they have excellent service the food is great. I think it is the best greek restaurant in Adelaide!

Close to the market. Great ambience inside and out. Feel welcome to stay even if only having a coffee. Friendly, efficient service, particularly during limited lunch breaks. Generous with serving water. Acoustically very good: will close off doors to keep the sound to large tables away from more intimate settings. Food is attractively presented, hot and delicious. The wine menu is great: supporting local wineries and offering good quality wine by the glass.

The Greeks' menu has a great selection of food accompanied by great service everytime. There is not one meal on the menu that I wouldn't eat, add to that great specials!

Surely this has to be the Best Greek in Australia and we've tried a few in every state! The Chef's are outstanding, the Service is excellent and with the atmosphere is spot on..... Can't wait to go back again....

Serves best coffee. Meals are simple and delicious. Regular and good changes in menu to suit seasons. Staff are friendly and attentive.

The Food is fantastic, so fresh, and such good value for money. The flavours are fantastic. The atmospher of the restaurant is great, and the people are friendly and inviting.

The food is great and the staff just make it all worthwhile. They talk to you and can actulaly hold a conversation. Any question about the menu? No worries they have the answer. Their recommendations... It's all good and I would agree!!

Have to say I was bit sceptical about celebrating an 80th here, but after finalising numbers at last minute, we couldn't have been more impressed with the fantastic, friendly efficient service and quality of food on a very busy Saturday Night. All of our meals were superb and served with great efficiency and the waiting staff were very accommodating both with regards to fitting in a pram and in their patience and explanation to our older relatives. We will definately be making this a regular place in our dining calendar

I went there yesterday 28/07/2009 - Very disappointing regarding the food... The service was good by one waitress the other didnt want to be there. I ordered the seafood plate on a bed of rice in cream sauce, the rice was raw, not cooked, and the seafood WHAT SEAFOOD? For $30 that was a waste of money. Will not be going bk to this restaurant, and cook better meals at home. This isnt as good as the greek restaurant at the Pier in Glenelg. 0 OUT OF 10 - NOT GOING BACK WILL TELL EVERYONE TOO!!

Came a long way from Wagga Wagga NSW to see this place and what an amazing dining experience. The staff, the atmosphere and obviously the food. Couldn't decide what to have it all looked so good. Ended up having the Brizzola. The most succulent piece of meat I've ever had. Cant wait to get back and try a platter!

Just the best food. Their zucchini fritters are amazing. I have been several times and it never fails to impress.

After all the great reviews I was really dissapointed with my meal here. Food/service, it was a quiet night, so perhpas not everyone was on the ball... :( dont think I'll try it again though. Wine List had some Rockfords on it so 2 hearts from me
