    My wife and I were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. We were staying at the Jamison Hotel and ate dinner at the Charr Restaurant and were treated with the absolute best service. They really made an effort to give us a special night. Our reservation for Summit was for 8:30 Friday; I thought that would be late enough to just order desert and enjoy the view. We were seated at a very nice table but after ordering, the waiter refused to serve us. He said that we needed to Oder $85.00 worth of food; obviously he needs to brush up on his math skills. We ordered 2 chocolate soufflés ($50.00)2 coffees ($12.00) 2 Penfolds Grandfather Ports ($50.00) totalling $112.00 and who knows what else we might have ordered after that, plus a generous tip. I have to say, that was the most rude and disgusting behaviour form a waiter that I have ever seen. We left the restaurant and will never go back.

    The view was great,so was the service, the entree was excellent but the main was paltry. I have never had a rack of lamb with only 1 bone. Smallest lamb chop I have ever seen.

    Fantastic place and view, very tastly presented and mouth watering flavours. Scenery of sydney is fabulous, staff and service friendly and helpful. Food my best restaurant, i have been 5 times already and deserve many more in the future. Great for those special occasions we all deserve.

    Myself and my partner ate here over 'Good Food Week' for lunch. The service was friendly and professional. The decor was minimal yet I believe warm (my partner disagrees on this point!) This indeed was well thought out as the view really is the focus. Table linen, cutlery/crockery was all of a high standard. Finally the food was impeccable. We ate Ocean Trout and it was cooked to perfection. I would definitely return and take friends visiting from overseas.
