Fantastic value for money, great ambience, can't ask for more!

The food at Sault was sublime, the service exceptional and it was very good value for money.

I love Sault for the warm and friendly ambience that engulfes you as walk through the door. Fresh produce is cooked together with moorish flavours and presented with impeccable style.
The waiters and bar stuff put all their energy into making certain that your dining is a most pleasurable one and your taste buds are delightfully treated beckoning you back for more.
I couldn't think of a more exqhuisite place to dine. The magical fountain infront of the sandstone building with a lake and feild of lavender beyond is truly award winning!

From the beautiful venue and the way the owners and their staff make you feel special ,to the amazing food and the excellent wine list .
Sault is my favorite restaurant , its the restaurant that has become a bench mark that I find myself comparing others to and mostly the others dont match up.

We have dined at Sault on many occasions, and on each visit we have found the hosts to be exceptionally polite, well mannered and very conscious of the need to please and care for their clientelle. This they achieve in spades!

Sault's menu is constantly creative and reflective of the seasonal produce that is purchased from within the region. This we believe to be an exemplory approach to fostering local business and goodwill. It is always a delight to select a delicious dish from each course offered. The ever expanding quality wine list compliments the meals tastefully.

The restaurant staff are conscientious and polite at all times. They also provide us with friendly service, and often a laugh.

Their venue is spacious, light filled and overlooks green lawns, the lake and rolling, well manicured, lavender fields.
Dining on the balcony on sunny days has been a pure experience of the countryside.

We found Sault to be the perfect place for dining in Daylesford and most suitable for weddings. So far two of our children have celebrated their marriages there to the enjoyment of all. The photographs were spectacular and colourful.

It is for these reasons that we vote for Sault as our favourite No 1 choice.

Sault, situated just outside Daylesford, surrounded by lavender lake and bush is just a gorgeous place. The owners, Damien and Jodie, are gracious and innovative, chefs are adept at putting new spins on local produce and the front-of-house staff are charming and knowledgeable. My daugher chose this venue for her wedding next year because it is so perfect.

My wife and I ate last night, Saturday 13/6/09.
Food was excellent, wine list extensive and terrific value.
The service was first class - unobtrusive, helpful, fun and engaging.

Sault aways serves food of an extreamly high standard. Use delicious, seasonal , local produce and have a relaxed atmosphere with a dining veiw to die for!

Sault is a BEAUTIFUL dining experience. Not only has the restaurant got an amazing/romantic/timeless atmosphere that oozes class, the food...oh my god, the food is pure luxury.
It is the perfect venue for a romantic evening or an special occasion - it is magic.

I celebrated my 30th birthday at this wonderful venue and had a great time. Beautiful setting, amazingly good local produce prepared deliciously, outstanding local vino...........all served flawlessly. Cant sing their praises loud enough, def one of this regions delights!
