My friends and I go here all the time. If you want breakfast on the weekends, you gotta get there early... a queue forms at around 11am for a table. The staff are so friendly, but ultra efficient every time we go in.
My partner and I think it's the best cafe on Brunswick Street......

Great Coffee, Great food, The best Muffiins ever, Excellent service and staff and lets not forget great location.

I have been a customer at Red Tongue for 4 years now and they have always been consistent in all the bove mentioned.

Red Tongue Cafe is a great place to catch up with friends for a relaxing coffee, brunch on weekends or a summer afternoon spent on the patio sipping wine and eating fabulous pastas or one of their daily specials.

The owner is so much a part of why this venue has existed for so long and why it still maintians such long term regulars.
Like a home away from home with good food and drinks. Regularly updating decor, food and ideas it is not pretentious, just doing what they do, well.

Fantastic staff, good service, brilliant breakfasts, the best caesar salad and warm vege salad in Melbourne, and mindblowingly good coffee. And the cakes...don't even get me started..........

I love Red Tongue because of the exceptional service and friendly staff, I have been going to this establishment for the last 9 years. The owner, has made a significant contribution to the atmosphere of Brunswick Street, through the vibarncy of his cafe.

With the exception of the first post, the above are all sockpuppets. Obvious ones too- just read them and look at the usernames. Red Tongue are clearly not averse to a bit of dishonesty, and it cheapens the site somewhat.
