This place is Maleny's absolutely best kept secret. It is hidden away at the back of a beauty salon in an old queenslander style place. It has by far the best quality food made from a bit of an eccentric lovely young chef - we don't hold the fact that he's English against him! It does add to the character of the whole place! We are made to feel so welcome by Jodie (chef's wife) she always has a bit of a chat with us and that justs adds to the great day we usually have here in Maleny. Rochelle

The best freshly prepared food using superb local ingredients, expertly cooked, fantastic presentation, it makes your mouth water just to look at eat, almost a shame to eat it, but when you do, you are then in food heaven.

And..... the desserts, Chris makes the best I have ever tasted, all topped off with a stunning location and great professional service. Chris and Jodi are a great team.

I love it because Pomodoras is a small restaurant with a limited, though regularly changing, menu. The chef sources local ingredients which means everything is always superbly fresh. The food is unpretentious but innovative, and the service also excellent.

Simply the best food and service in MALENY, which is a standout town for great eating on the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland!

Cause the food is fantastic and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. There is a good variety and the food is always fresh and tasty. The chef obviously loves the food he prepares, and presents it beautifully, its a delight to devour such masterpeices!

I love that Pomodoras supports the philosophy of Slow Food - they source local produce and prepare it in a way that both honours and maintains the integrity of the food. Chris is an artisanal chef. His passion is evident in the quality of the dishes and the care with which it is presented.

The chef Chris Bond pays great attention to detail. His food is not only delicious the quality and presentation is superb. Chris subscribes to the slow food and fair trade ethos and cares about what he puts on the table. Pomodoras is a hidden gem.

The staff treat you as part of their family, the meals are exceptional, I have never been disappointed. On a cold day there are blankets and cushions for extra warmth, which on a cold day makes you feel good when your tucking intosomething warm and delicious. Being tucked away from the main street it is regarded as the locals little secret - private, precious and perfect every time!

Quaint café tucked away serving fresh seasonal restaurant quality food at café prices. You should visits them or better yet attend one of their Food Appreciation Dinners.
