Had a great time at this place over the weekend when I attended the reception for my Neice's wedding. The food was fantastic! With comments like - this food is much better than wedding food. In fact the food was top restaurant qualilty food with an excellent choice of entre, main and dessert. You know when the food is great at a wedding when you see everyone offering others a taste of their dishes The service was also excellent, very efficient both with delivery and clean up. I have no idea how much it cost my niece but i would recommend this restaurant to anyone
The food is second to none, and we dine a lot in the Sydney CBD. The service is also exceptional. The view is amazing. All in all a First Class Restaurant.

An excellent winelist makes Ocean a place to linger over lunch in the sparkling sunshine. Or you can enjoy dinner in the dramatic interior. On any day - Ocean's location is more than a backdrop - it sets the tone of the menu. Showcasing the freshest seasonal ingredients is Oceans speciality- but its the seafood that really shines here. Beautiful mussel and shellfish chowder drizzled with crustacean oil...squeakingly fresh oysters, scallops, Huon Valley trout. Ocean breaks that golden rule - that places with great views have mediocre food. At Ocean - the view is just a backdrop to the food.
I live in Sydney and eat out often and also have had the pleasure of eating out this year at some of the best restaurants in Brisbane. The Ocean Restaurant at The Entrance has a pleasant dining room ambience, delightful uninterrupted ocean views, great service and delicious food. I especially enjoyed the slipper lobster entree, rabbit main course and a delightful strawberry omelette for dessert. The wine list is also comprehensive. This restaurant could hold its own with any of the best restaurants, at which I have eaten, in Brisbane!
Service is friendly but not too intrusive - you are made to feel very special - food is simple flavours well cooked and utterly delicious.....
My partner and I made a Sea change in Dec./ 08 and we found this gem in our neighbourhood along the shore. Let me tell one and all this was a cracker! Going to a new place is like a first date; its all in those first few minutes that the attraction begins. Our host greeted us warmly and noted our preferences on the menu so that she could suggest wines as we weren't sure of a few. They matched wonderfully, must say the Shanghai Prawns app. was fun and our oysters fresh and clean . It was a summer's evening and we watched the surf just outside our window as the view was magnificent stretching all the way to The Entrance. The mains arrive and let me say the Steak while simply made was perfect, I ordered the special of Pork belly and it was meltingly good. We had great coffees and dessert and said we have to be back again. We have been there many times and try new dishes as they change it up seasonally. Can't say enough and and hope the they receive some interest as they are on par with Sydney's best.

Ocean Restaurant is the best restaurant ive ever been to, it has an outstanding standard of service, food quality and breathtaking views. It has the best seafood on the NSW coast and is always fresh. It is by far my favourite restaurant ive been to.

You can watch the whale migration and dolphins up close while you are enjoying the delectable delicacies of seafood the chef has prepared. The staff are also fantastic, very friendly and professional.
The seafood is always fresh and the chef is very creative with tast blending.
The staff are efficent, warm and friendly. The food is to die for and the view is the by far the best on the Central Coast.
