I love going to The Courthouse because the food is devine, plenty of choices, quality and presentation firts class. Staff are friendly and make you feel special and are attentive to your needs. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of food presented. Highly recommend a vist to 1884 Courthouse Resturant
The Courthouse is somewhere you go to enjoy special occassions, the staff very attentitive, food is "Out of this World" top quality , plenty of choices and presentation excellent. In fact will be going there next week again and look forward to this occassion again.
When my husband and I have the chance to go out without our young children, I love to go here. The restaurant has an old world charm, the food is outstanding and the staff are very attentive. We do not have to try and catch the eye of the staff when we need assistance, they keep a close watch on our needs and we always have a relaxed meal.
Quality is good service friendly and they do little things to add value to the dining such as provide a small free bowl of soup.
I love it because I have tried at least 30 different dishes on different occasions and I have never been disapointed. I have just completed 2 years at TAFE in Hospitality cookery and Patissery and I find some places dont meet my expectations but this place does

Has to be the best food in Berwick. The food is presented very well and is delicious, they have to have the best hot chips ever. No matter what you order there are never any questions about the qualityand is always hot and you have exactly what you ordered. Good Luck to The Courthouse Restaurant.

From the moment you enter you are received into a warm and friendly environment. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is exceptional - from the duck pate to the mushroom tart, calamari cooked to perfection and the profitteroles are to die for!! I could go on and on. The pricing is very reasonable. It is an amazing place! Beautiful meals every time we go! I have many food allergies and I have never been unwell from eating at the Courthouse and it is never to much trouble to change something if I cant eat it! Many places get 'put out' if you ask to change something or take out something in their foods! My husband and I love this place and we recommend it to others and take many friends there! We have had many great nights out and celebrations there! My husband is also very intersted in the beer nights out to learn more about different beers on the market and loves talking to beer smellier 'Paul'! Tim was also kind enough to show my husband, a keen chef through his kitchen and extensive beer glass collection! This restaurant is very much deserving of the above award on so many levels!
The Courthouse is a local institution, where couples, groups and families can go to get quality fresh produce, original dishes and great service without having to break the budget. It's a relaxed atmosphere where the chef is open to feedback and the staff are always aiming to please. Simple yet yummy - Berwick is lovin' it!

Have never in my life been to such a relaxing and beautiful dinner. The food was orgasmic, the cocktails delicious and the desserts oh my god, as well as service polite freindly and professional. My partner and i shared a chocolate mousse dessert and no other has topped it. my favourit resturant!!!!

What's not to love? The food is consistently excellent, wine list impressive and affordable and one of the biggest beer lists I've ever seen! The service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing, the surroundings comfortable and conducive to a great night out. Ten out of Ten, the Courthouse is my favourite place to eat and I'm prepared to travel 250kms to go there!

With a menu designed by Matt Moran, but with a delightfully country feel, it's everything Australia has to offer all in the one little old building in the outer south east suburbs of Melbourne.
The atmosphere and service is great. It still has the feel of old courthouse. The food is always cooked perfectly and to me i enjoy ging to a restaurant that doesnt make you feel bloated after your main meal and there is still room for dessert! that means the food is good quality, without all the otehr preservatives other restaurants use.
