Classic Cupcake

A great basic cupcake recipe that produces moist cupcakes

Serves 12

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self raising flour
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 125g melted butter
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200C.
  2. Combine flour and sugar in a bowl then add milk, butter, eggs and vanilla essence.
  3. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Spoon mixture into a prepared muffin pan.
  5. Bake for 12-15 mins.
