Panna Cotta with Beetroot and Lime Syrup

A beautiful blend of flavours within this recipe that you should try at home!

Ingredients

  • 3 gelatine leafs
  • 250ml of double cream
  • 50ml of milk
  • 1 tsp of vanilla essence
  • 150gr of sugar &
  • 1tbsp dark rum

For the Syrup

  • 150gr for sauce
  • The rind of limes cut into very small strips
  • The juice of 2 limes and a little water
  • 2 golden or red beetroot cooked peeled and cut into small cubes

Method

  1. Put in a pan the sugar, the juice of the limes the lime strips and 1 tbsp of water.
  2. Dissolve on fire until transparent, let cool to serve put the container with panna cotta in hot water for a few seconds turn upside down on a serving plate.
  3. Decorate with the Beetroot cubes and 2/3 tbsp of lime syrup.
