Balsamic lamb stir-fry


Balsamic lamb stir-fry

This is something I just threw together — it doesn't take long at all.

Ingredients

  • 500g lamb strips
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • ½-1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 5 rashers bacon, cut into strips
  • stir-fry vegetables (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lamb herbs

Method

  1. Heat fry pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and lightly brown meat. Set aside and sprinkle with herbs.
  2. Add butter, onion, garlic and bacon to fry pan and cook until onion is soft.
  3. Add vegetables, balsamic vinegar and lamb to pan and simmer for about 5 minutes on medium heat, stirring regularly.
  4. This dish can be served with rice.

Tip:

try topping the stir-fry with a fried egg for something different.
