Chocolate Almond Swirls



  • 1.

    Cut one sheet of pastry into 2 cm wide strips. Cut the second sheet into small circles.

  • 2.

    Brush the “strip” with egg wash, then sprinkle with almond meal and chocolate chips.

  • 3.

    Brush the pastry circle with egg wash, sprinkle with almond meal then Place one almond in the centre of the circle.

  • 4.

    Place the twirled strip on top of the circle, onto baking paper, then into an oven pre-heated to 200C for minutes.
