Chilli Coiled Pork Belly


  • 1 kg pork belly

  • 1 can crushed tomatoes

  • ½ can of water

  • 2 long red chillies, finely chopped

  • 6 spring onions, chopped

  • 1 tsp crushed garlic

  • 200g green beans


  • 1.

    Cut the rind off the pork bellies, then place flat on the bench and wrap around itself into a coil and secure with a toothpick.

  • 2.

    Place the tomatoes, water, chillies, onion and garlic into an oven dish and stir together, then place the pork coils into the sauce, cover with foil and bake at 200 degrees for 45 minutes.

  • 3.

    After 45 minutes remove the foil turn the oven up to 250 degrees and place the beans under the sauce and bake for a further 10 minutes then serve.
