Cheesy Chicken Rissoles


Ingredients

  • 500g chicken mince
  • 1 spanish onion finely chopped
  • 2 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp horseradish
  • 1 egg
  • 150g breadcrumbs
  • 50g fetta
  • 100g grated cheddar
  • 1½ litres of water
  • 4 tbsp arrowroot

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients (except water) in a large bowl and massage well.
  2. Form into balls then flatten into shape, place in an oven tray, add the water and bake at 200C for 25 -30 minutes.
  3. Remove the rissoles from the oven tray and thicken the sauce using arrowroot.

    The chicken cheese recipe has something wrong with it - either too much water or not enough cooking time and there was no sauce to thicken. Would love someone to please explain

    This is definitely tasty!! I made it for my family last night and they really loved them so much .. I made it together with the recipes I got from gourmandia .. and they totally admire it!

    My family agree that these rissoles are awesome...I also added vegetta and sweet chilli sauce. For the gravy I used Gravox chicken supreme...absolutely delicious.

    this is awesome yet i add veggeta sweet chilli sauce more grated cheese and chicken stock in the water! my kids LUV it!
