Spicy Strawberry Sorbet

Makes approx. 2 litres.


  • 6 cups fresh ripe strawberries, hulled

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon of your favourite hot sauce


  • 1.

    Puree berries with sugar with a blender, food processor or immersion blender. Add the lemon juice, salt and hot sauce and puree until very smooth.

    Freeze in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's directions.
