Moroccan Mint Tea

Switch up your tea time a bit with a refreshing hot mint tea. Mint aids digestion, so this is a great finish to a rich meal.

Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 2 cups loosely packed fresh mint leaves
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp loose green tea leaves
  • 6 cups boiling water
  • Mint sprigs, for garnish

Method

  1. Combine mint, sugar, honey and tea in a teapot. Pour boiling water over and let steep 5 to 8 minutes. Strain out mint and tea leaves and pour into glasses. Garnish with a mint sprig and serve.
