These chicken puffs can be an appetiser or made larger for a meal. They are puff pastry parcels with a chicken mixture. I made this receipe for my boys when they were small and they still ask for it now - boys being 21,25 and 28!!They are a quick and easy recipe which always pleases.
Chop chicken breast into small squares.
mix with chopped coriander, minced garlic and salt and pepper and some butter and/or margarine just to bind together.
Slice puff pastry sheets into small or larger squares. Usually about about nine to one slice of pastry or four larger ones.
Place mixture onto centre of square and gather up each corner to make a central join. squeeze together well and then brush with beaten egg or milk.
Place in hot oven, fan forced 200 on baking tray until golden. usually about 15 minutes. Delicious eaten with salad or veges or as an appentiser with drinks, if small.
