Fried Ladies’ Fingers

Fried LADIES’ FINGERS is a good dish for the family. It is adequate for serve to four. It is easy family-friendly weekday and weeknight meal.

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 8 oz ladies’s fingers (cut into slanted slices)
  • ¼ tsp tamarind & ¼ cup water – mix and squeeze out juice
  • 4 tbs olive oils
  • Pounded ingredients:
  • 4 oz dried prawns
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 8 small onions
  • 4 red chillies (remove seeds)

Method

  1. Heat olive oil in pan and fry Pounded Ingredients until fragrant.
  2. Add ladies’s fingers and stir for 2 minutes.
  3. Add tamarind juice and simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Serve hot. FRIED LADIES’ FINGERS.

Notes & Tips

My family love it, a home cooked meal according to my past and present cooking experience. My cook kitchen tips is I tidy my place and don’t go into long and lengthy ingredients. I cook very simply. One there is taste and I am a cheap cook but expensive in taste. Whatever I cook, Malaysian, Chinese, Indian, European, is good taste. Quite spicy, if use 2 instead of 4 red chillies it would be mild.
