A quick and easy pasta meal I tried one evening after a long day at work. It took no time and was extremely tasty and how has now become a staple in our family meal repetoire.
Bring a pan of water to the boil and cook the angel hair pasta according to instructions on the packet. Drain the pasta when cooked and keep to the side.
Peel and devein the green prawns.
Brown the onion with the garlic and a little olive oil in a fry pan.
Add the prawns ensuring the prawns are just cooked on both sides. Ensure they are not over cooked as they will become tough.
Reduce the heat. Add the tomato puree.
Roughly tear the basil leaves and add to the pan. Simmer until the tomato puree is warmed through.
