Cut chicken into think strips. Place 3 or 4 tablespoons of Chinese 5 Spice into a plastic bag or bowl and coast chicken, put aside.
Heat a wok or large frypan with a couple of tablespoons of peanut oil. Once hot add chicken, 2 tablespoons of soy,1 or 2 teaspoons of Tabasco Sauce depending on how spicy you like your food and cook until browned and just about ready to serve, remove from heat.
Add in zucchini, broccoli/cauliflower or both and red onion, stir fry for a couple of minutes ensure that the vegetables remain crunchy.
Add back the chicken, with the cherry tomatoes and bok choy and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir fry for a couple of minutes and serve hot.
I really liked this dish.
It needs only few inexpensive ingredients but the result is pretty good!
I added a little bit of white wine and some cashews and more soy sauce than described.
Instead of the chicken I used beef, but next time I would use chicken.
