Cook onion & garlic (garlic optional) till soft & golden then add in the chopped bacon, cook bacon till just crispy. Turn heat down on stove to medium then add mushrooms (cut mushrooms into chunky bits) - cook for 2 minutes then stir in the small container of cream. After a minute mix in 2-3 heaped tablespoons of pesto - doesn't matter if you add too much. Stir through
Then add in the cooked liinguine into the sauce - mix through. Delish!!!
Serve with warmed breadrolls, a nice white and Michael Buble in the background.
