Glenny's Mussels


A simple way to have mussels in the fridge ready to eat

Serves 4

Ingredients

Method

  1. Clean beards away from mussels
  2. Place mussels in steamer steam till opened, about 16 at a time depending
  3. on size of steamer
  4. Do not throw out water/juice from steamer, let cool
  5. Remove mussels and take out of shells
  6. Put mussels in clean jar (with lid)
  7. Combine 50/50 white vinegar and water/juice from steamer, pour into the jar
  8. covering mussels
  9. place in fridge.
