Easy Scones


Quick scone recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self raising flour
  • 2 tablespoons icing sugar
  • 1 cup cream (longlife cream works great!)
  • 1/3 cup milk

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients together until combined
  2. Knead lightly on a floured board and roll gently to approx 1" thickness.
  3. Use a scone cutter (or a small glass) to shape the scones.
  4. Cook for 10-12 minutes on 250 deg.C
  5. Makes approx 15 Scones

Notes & Tips

Brush tops of scones with milk or beaten egg, if desired. Serve with whipped cream or butter and jam.
