In a saucepan add the honey and soy sauce,ginger and garlic.
Bring to the boil and take off heat.
Pour sauce over the chicken
Place in oven 185 degrees or 165 fan forced.
turn pieces over half way through cooking
Cook for 30-35 minutes until tender.
Place rice in a saucepan and wash thoroughly in cold water until water drains clear.
Place water over rice until it is approx 1" above the rice. Place on stove and bring to boil. Turn heat down and simmer uncovered until water has evaporated. Turn heat down to very low and place lid on saucepan until ready to use.
Place rice on each plate and serve chicken on top or beside rice. Decorate with 1/2 inch slices of shallots.

The sauce for the dish can be made less sweet or sweeter by altering the amounts of the soy sauce or honey. Depending on the taste that you like.
