Baked Bean

hearty healthy and Happy Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 tin berlotti bean

  • 1 tin chick pea

  • 1 tin cannellini bean

  • 1 1/2 cups napolitana sauce

  • 1 onion

  • 1 tablespoon sambal chilli paste optional

  • worcestershire sauce

  • fresh herbs

Method

  • 1.

    Fry up onion and chilli paste.

  • 2.

    Add beans, napoli sauce and worcestshire sauce.

  • 3.

    Simmer for 30 minutes.

  • 4.

    Season with salt and pepper.

  • 5.

    Serve on toast.

  • 6.

    OPTIONS: Use any other tinned beans – or use dried beans by soaking overnight

Easy and nutitious food, and cheap especially if you use dried beans
