Mushroom parcels

Mushrooms wrapped in puff pastry



  • 1.

    Finely chop small onion and garlic and then lightly fry in butter.

  • 2.

    Add thinly sliced mushrooms cook until tender.

  • 3.

    Add cream and mustard to taste and simmer until thick and creamy.

  • 4.

    Take a sheet of puff pastry put a spoon full of mushroom mix on the corner of the pastry cover with the pastry to make a parcel. Bake in a moderate oven until golden brown. serve with Salad or vegetables. Add bacon to the mushroom mix for a differnt flavour.


Kids love it when you roll up scraps of the pastry and bake for fun I make the initals of the family member and place of top of the parcels so when they are baked they have their individual parcel.
