Beer Can Chicken

Suculent BBQ chicken



  • 1.

    Preheat BBQ to 200 degrees

  • 2.

    Rub olive oil and salt and pepper into skin of chicken

  • 3.

    Place open can of beer upright in cavity of chicken so chicken is standing up over the can. place in a tray and BBQ for approx 50-60 mins until golden brown and suculent (until juices run clear)

  • 4.

    Once chicken is cooked, take care removing the beer can as there will still be liquid inside.

  • 5.

    Serve with a side salad and ENJOY!


Beer can can be replaced with a can of lemon softdrink and add a squeeze of lemon juice to the outside. Ginger-ale aslo works well with some fresh ginger on the skin, and even Coke.
