Beer Can Chicken


Suculent BBQ chicken

Ingredients

Method

  1. preheat BBQ to 200 degrees
  2. rub olive oil and salt and pepper into skin of chicken
  3. place open can of beer upright in cavity of chicken so chicken is standing up over the can. place in a tray and BBQ for approx 50-60 mins until golden brown and suculent (until juices run clear)
  4. Once chicken is cooked, take care removing the beer can as there will still be liquid inside.
  5. Serve with a side salad and ENJOY!

Notes & Tips

Beer can can be replaced with a can of lemon softdrink and add a squeeze of lemon juice to the outside. Ginger-ale aslo works well with some fresh ginger on the skin, and even Coke.
