Speedy Fruit Flan


Speedy Fruit Flan

Cake base with custard, cream and fruit

Serves 6 to 8

Ingredients

  • 1 pkt golden buttercake mix
  • 1 cup good quality vanilla custard
  • 3/4 cup cream, whipped with 1 tblspn icing sugar and 1 tspn vanilla essence
  • 425g tin fruit of choice (or fresh)

Method

  1. Make Buttercake following packet instructions
  2. Pour into greased indented 30cm flan tin
  3. Cook in 160 degree (fan forced) oven for approximately 20 minutes
  4. Once cake has had time to cool fill with custard, then whipped cream and finally top with desired fruit
