Mexican meatballs

Mince meat balls in a rich tomato sauce. Very easy to cook.


  • 1/2 kilo mince meat

  • 1/2 chopped onion

  • can of chopped tomatoes

  • tomato paste

  • cube of chicken stock

  • oregano leaves

  • 1 egg

  • salt

  • oil

  • Chopped raw carrots chopped optional


  • 1.

    Mixed mince meat with egg and salt. Make balls a bit bigger than a golf ball. Set apart.

    In a saucepan fried the onion, pour tomatoes and leave for 1 minute or until boiling. Add 1 cup of water. When boiling, add the meat balls. When boiling add a teaspoon of oregano leaves and the cube of chicken stock. Add the carrots and let them cook for about 15 minutes.

  • 3.

    They are ready to serve. You can use rice on the side. Put 2 or 3 meatballs with the sauce.
