Southern corn souffle pudding

This is a yummy side dish eaten all through the southern states of the USA. Was addicted to it while I was there



  • 1.

    Preheat oven to 180 C

  • 2.

    Grease a medium casserole dish with melted butter.

  • 3.

    In a bowl combine the dry ingredients with the corn.

  • 4.

    Add the beaten eggs, milk and Tobasco if desired.

  • 5.

    Pour into prepared casserole dish and bake for 1 hour.


You can add 1 cup of grated cheese or .5 cup finely diced and sauted capsicum for a different flavour
