Easy as pie and great for entertaining, kids parties and work morning teas.
Defrost pastry sheets on cutting board. Preheat oven to 200C. Mix egg and milk for use as egg-wash.
De-skin sausages and spread 3 on a sheet of pastry - leaving a 1 cm edge on the top. Adda sprinkling of cheese on top of sausage
Brush egg wash on the top egde and roll up like a swiss roll. Wrap with plastic wrap and put in the freezer for 10-20 minutes until firm.
Repeat above with all the sheets of pastry.
When ready to cook unwrap and cut into slices (1cm thick) and put onto a baking tray covered in paper. Cook in oven for 12-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve hot with sauces.
