Annetta's Spaghetti Bolognese


The best spaghetti sauce I have ever eaten.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg premium beef mince
  • 4 brown onions diced
  • 8 cloves of fresh garlic crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon all spice
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 1 x 375g of tomato paste
  • 3 x 750ml jars of tomato passata
  • 1 cup of water

Method

  1. Cook the onions in olive oil for 10 minutes
  2. Add the garlic
  3. Add the mince and brown
  4. Add the tomato paste and mix through the mince
  5. Add all other ingredients.
  6. Bring to the boil.
  7. Reduce to a slow simmer and cover with a lid.
  8. Slow cook the sauce for at least 4 hours
