Quick and easy and low carb. Should take 15 mins to prepare and 5 mins to cook.
Doesn't get any easier than that.
Bash core of iceberg on the kitchen bench to loosen the core.
Pull core out of lettuce. Separate the leaves from each other.
Trim if you want them extra tidy.
Heat wok and add half of the oil, cook onion.
Add combined pork, chicken, sesame oil, garlic and ginger
And stir-fry until meat is just cooked through; remove to a bowl.
Add remaining oil and stir-fry mushrooms and carrot and until they just soften.
Add combined sauces and toss to combine.
Finally stir in bean sprouts and green onions until just combined.
Arrange lettuce leaves on a large platter.
Fill each leaf with a couple of tablespoons of the meat mixture
And wrap up to eat.
Have plenty of serviettes ready to mop up the yummy juices .
