This recipe is REALLY quick and very tasty. The end result are cooked plums which have a sweet crust. It's fantastic with icecream or a dessert cream.
Wash the plums and pat dry. Roll the plums in the egg and then roll in the sugar. Put the plums on a baking tray lined with alfoil and put in a 210 degree oven for about 15 - 20 mins. Serve with icecream or dessert cream.
Make note to mention to whoever's eating the plums that the seed is still there... broken teeth can be a real dampener on a dinner party!
