Years ago this was the first recipe I learn in School I have modified it a little to my own tastes
Pre-heat oven to 180C. Grease baking tin or casserole dish (18x24cm approx.)
Combine flour and salt with butter, rub ingredients together with fingertips until combined, may need more flour depending. Add milk until mixture is thick and dough like and able to be kneaded. Knead dough and sit aside.
Cook oinion, capsicum, tomato in melted butter (if adding bacon or mushrooms also cook together at this stage) Cook until onion is transparent in colour add creamed corn and curry cook for 5 mins on med heat combine cheese and milk in a seperate container with salt and pepper once creamed corn is cooked add cheese & milk mixture stir through and cook for a further 5-10 mins. More curry powder can be added as desired.
Fill baking tray with filling
Roll out pastry to cover top and place on top pressing down slightly
Cook for approx 20-30 mins or until pastry is lightly brown
This is a delicious dish can be made as a side or main with anything, you can also add any ingredients in the filing like spring onion etc. really whatever you have in your fridge you want to use up
